Entwined Paths
Acrylic on canvas

“Entwined Paths” explores the complex and intertwined layers of experiences that surround and shape us. In this piece, a figure—
ambiguous in gender—is enveloped by leaves and branches,
symbolizing memories, encounters, and influences that merge into our identity. The figure’s neutrality allows each viewer to project their own
understanding, emphasizing that this journey is one we all share.
The delicate structures in the background represent the fragile foundations upon which we build our lives. These structures appear stable, yet it is the threads of our perceptions that hold them together.
There is an inherent ambiguity here, a sense of mystery: Do we shape these paths, or do the paths shape us? This artwork invites viewers to reflect on this question, pondering whether our journeys define us or if we are the ones defining the journeys.
